It’s almost February already!

How’d that happen?!!!!

Unfortunately, I’ve been sick for the majority of January.  It started the weekend after New Year’s.  I was flat out with a sinus infection.  It was horrible, and I’m not really sure where it came from…  This is paradise, we’re not supposed to get sick like that.  Then, just about as suddenly as it appeared, the sinus infection was gone.

Must have been the daily overdosing of Sudafed.

I was fine…almost…for about a week when my ears all of a sudden felt like they were being ripped from my head.  Again, what the heck?!  I spent a week on the couch with the heating pad, and went through almost an entire bottle of honey with all of the hot tea that I was drinking.  It was insane, and I am still not completely over it.  I don’t get it, but whatever, as long as I can keep functioning for a while, all will be good!

I’ve accomplished absolutely nothing this month.  I had fully intended on 2009 beginning in a very productive and positive way.  I suppose it just wasn’t in the cards for things to go the way that I had planned.

Cheers to February!  May it be the January that I had hoped for!!!
